Acceptable Use Policy

This policy keeps the The Software House platform safe, lawful and useful for the textile industry. It applies to everyone who uses the platform, our APIs or any AI feature.

1. Prohibited content

You may not upload, process or generate content that:

  • Infringes third-party intellectual property, including unlicensed designs, prints or brand assets.
  • Is illegal, defamatory, harassing or discriminatory.
  • Contains child sexual abuse material or non-consensual intimate imagery.
  • Reveals personal data of individuals you have no lawful basis to process.
  • Violates export control, sanctions or trade compliance laws.

2. Prohibited activities

  • Attempting to bypass authentication, rate limits, credit metering or workspace isolation.
  • Reverse engineering models, scraping outputs to train competing AI systems, or extracting weights.
  • Sending malware, conducting denial-of-service attacks or probing for vulnerabilities without authorization.
  • Reselling or wrapping the platform under a different brand without a written reseller agreement.
  • Using the platform to make fully automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without human review.

3. AI-specific rules

  • Do not present AI-generated material as human-created when the distinction matters (e.g. regulatory filings, certifications).
  • Review AI outputs before relying on them for quality, safety or sustainability claims about physical products.
  • Do not use the platform to deceive customers about the origin, composition or sustainability of textile materials.

4. Reporting abuse

Report violations to [email protected]. Include the workspace name, time of the incident and any supporting evidence. We investigate every report and respond to verified incidents within 5 business days.

5. Enforcement

We may remove violating content, throttle or suspend accounts, and in serious cases terminate access and report unlawful activity to authorities. Where possible we notify customers before taking action so they can remediate.
